And also notice that they all had "highly flammable fiberglass hulls."

I also saw this report, and it reminded me of a fire that happened a couple of years ago in a Cape Cod boat yard where dozens of mostly wooden (and very expensive and classic) boats were stored and went up in flames.............this article calls these boats "highly flammable fiberglass hulls"...............hmmmm....which are more flammable: wooden hulls or fiberglass hulls? Also............the OP calls these "stink pots". Stink pots? I seem to remember hearing an oldster using that term, should have asked him what kind of boats "stink pots" are. Would the OP or someone else reading this kindly explain what a "stink pot" is? Thanks..........a.a.t. |

A stink pot is any powerboat.
Both wood and fiberglass boats are extremely flammable. I think they both burn with equal intensity, yet the FG boats produce toxic black smoke. One of the most dangerious events at sea is a fire. Joe |

What is stupid is your typical French responce doucebag.
Yes I have a steel hull.... and it will not burn like FG and wood. Just a simple statement of facts..... asshole. Now run along and brush your girlfriends under arm hair or something useful. Joe |
