Why is Doug so Bitter?
One word:
Trawler. There's just no getting away from it....until it runs out of diesel! Sell it, Doug. Buy what YOU want rather than something with floor length curtains for the wife. If she won't go for that then lose her and find a woman who shares your love of sailing or at least respects it. Look, Doug...this could be you.... http://www.beneteauclub.net/HideousKinky.jpg Or this.... http://www.cedarpointyc.org/uploads/Moderation0001.jpg Or even this.... http://www.sailboatowners.com/boats/...na/38main.jpeg RB 35s5....a SAIL boat NY |

Why is Doug so Bitter?
Doug has been sailing for many decades. He has cruised, raced, sailed big
and small boats, etc, etc. He strongly resents the mockery and degradation you make of sailing, let alone the good natured people here. If you had only an inkling of how revolting and repulsive you've become. You can't and that's the problem. You can start with a sincere apology to Doug and to the others you have made suffer here. You are also an embarrassment to the people you associate with (and use here) in daily life. Have you no shame? Amen! |

Dear Doug, I'm sorry that your life ends with a trawler and also that Katy doesn't knoe how to spell "know." RB 35s5 NY |

How do you know? Because he says so? Do you realize that he used to own a Hunter 19, a boat he CAREFULLY chose, then claimed he wouldn't buy again? Note that Doug didn't comment on bad boat decisions HE made. Some of us have the backbone to call it the way we see it. Luckily you have me for that, since the rest here are lame beyond words. I guess when you get caught lying so much, "credibility" is
a difficult concept for you to grasp. Sorry again, Doug, but unless you have a broken back and no money there's no excuse for buying both the poor sailing Hunter 19 and then buying a powerboat. You have no credibility at all. The only sailing you do is on Google. The Hunter 19 water ballast (1993-95) is a great trailerable cruiser. Ours sailed more in one year than you do in a decade. If you mean , did I install a home theater, AC, surround sound,
intercom, genset, cheap veneer I don't have a genset. I don't have surround sound. Many new radios have the intercom feature...not surprising you don't know about it, old man! A demo sail????? Bwahahahahahahahahahahaahaaaaaa. Did they let you
steer and handle the "ropes" too????? We sailed the 35s5 with her owner and on the sea trial We rented a Hobie 16 near Salt Creek and did the same in NC. We also sailed a 35s5 here on the LIS and also sailed quite a few other boats. Your boat sat high and dry and you NEVER sailed! Don't forget to seal those leaky ports or you'll do that interior twice! RB 35s5 NY |

Yeah but you are going to put them in... you said as much in previous
posts. Remeber the "horrific" AC comment?? As even Jeff admitted, it can be quite oppressive to be below on a boat baking in 95 degrees. There's nothing healthy about it either. I expect the AC will be used then. We have no plans for a genset at this time. Sorry doubt there's more than 3 board feet of real wood on your entire vessel. Doubt all you wish. I'm not even curious about it. I just don't want to ever own a boat like yours with a poorly built interior, as YOU admitted. Is yours even half done yet? Fit and finish is not only about specific materials. More bad news: My honeycomb bulkheads cost more than your wood by quite a bit. I quess in part to the fact that sitting down is stipulated by size and design... Sorry again, Mooron! You can't lie about this: http://www.nordicaboats.com/assets/i...ay-sml-opt.jpg That head is even smaller than the one on the C&C 32. Tall people can't use it easily and can't close the door. No thanks! I at least have the option to sand and varnish.... while you are relegated to "peel & stick"... As I said, only the bulkheads and sliders are veneer. I can't imagine why I'd ever have to repair any of them, as they look like brand new after 16 years. That's proper yacht design, built to last instead of the following... "The woodwork inside is not always of the best workmanship and is a common problem with all Nordicas." Mooron, you never had a chance after that one!!! You can't talk your way out of it, you can't bwahahahaha! your way out either. You boat has BAD workmanship. Period. And after 16 years even well raced 35s5's look good! Mine looks like new! Actually, a real wood interior is capable of absorbing moisture, is a
natural disenfectant and mold preventer. "Capt.Mooron" wrote in message news:EXNzf.110406$km.49348@edtnps89... "Capt.
