movie, and you aren't even aware of Robert Heinlein's involvement. DSK I love those 50's sci fi flicks. My favorite is "Destination Moon". "Capt." Rob wrote: Directed by George Pal, who went on to make When World's Collide, The Time Machine and War of the Worlds. Pal was also famous for his stop motion Puppetoons which were done, in part, by carving wood figures for each frame! Destination Moon was also the first serious Sci fi film that attempted to depict space travel without fantasy. Great flick! Try.... It! The Terror From Beyond Space The Green Slime (Released to compete with 2001!!!) Conquest of Space (Another Pal classic) My favorite Pal film is still The Naked Jungle with Heston taking on army ants.
