Wanna sell me some red lead primer? I know you can get it. I Have good
American cash!

How's about some of that great foamed volcanic rock non-skid..Can you
get any of that?

Just what kind of decks do you have? Steel? Wood?

What do you guys use for non-skid?

No more red lead, we are now better stewards of the environment. Our
decks are solid teak 2X4 laid on edge. No non-skid. Just a acid bath
every few years and re-caulking when and where they leak (often).

Yup, inches. So the decks are 4" thick laid in 2" strips. The
maintenance is not bad. We keep them wet so they are always tight.
When we sail south (Hawaii) it becomes a problem if we sit still for a
few days. In that case we water them.

Nope.

I bet.. A cold weather steel boat in hawaii is going to expand.
Gotta love dripping overheads eh.....

Once my steel boat got so cold it blew apart the windows.

Do you have steel plate under the 2X4's?

No. When you look up you see teak deck underside. Steel frames though.
