You gotta be kidding.

Look at the wiring:

That's a rats nest!

Hey, Bob...Windriven got a custom and rather pricey panel upgrade. The
rats nest is the job in progress. Of course you neglected to show the
pic of the completed job....

Nice upgrade.
And here's what her owner says about her on the Beneteau forum:

"Excellent, fast, reasonably priced Racer/Cruiser. We race it
sucessfully but still go on extended cruising trips with the family.
Ideal size for Great Lakes.
Fast boat that is competitive in PHRF."

And here he is clobbering some good boats....

I see also won Sailwave a few times.

Anyway....happy new year, sir.

WOW. That's one sad looking 35s5 interior! Almost looks like she sank
and then the wood was stripped to dry. Or maybe she's just a tired
charter boat. A 35s5 in RI just sold for 60K and he has a race beaten
interior and bad cushions. I can't believe someone paid that, but maybe
they don't care about the interior too much.

Compare to my interior:

Nothing looks more dated than a 10 year old boat interior, a problem when
you try to market boats with females in mind. Big problem, you can replace
the cushions, but you can't do anything about that silly looking cabinetry.
Truly a girly man's boat!

Hell, that's what the wiring to the electrical panel looks like, on any
boat. More telling, the average Beneteau owner has to pay someone to work on
his boat, due to his lack of requisite skills!

Amen!

Guess you're right, the caption says "rewiring and cleanup of electrical
panel" implying that the damn thing wasn't wired properly in the first
place. Damn French, trying to electrocute Americans! Then again, if they
were good Americans, they wouldn't be buying French boats, would they? Maybe
they're doing all of us a favor? Maybe Richard is French? And what's with
those plastic mast sheaves?

Amen!

Well, if there was a better American boat for the money, maybe the USA
wouldn't be so shamed by the European yacht market just as the Japanese
shamed the USA car market.
It's pretty funny that John C. with a Catalina 28 would ever comment on
my boat....better built, bigger, faster and with a nicer interior by a
million miles than any boat he'll ever own.

"Catalina 28....when you haven't a clue or an original thought."
