Default Hey Gaz

Gaz,

Where are you Moored? It seems to be rather close. I might be able to
visit.

Hey Gaz,

Thom's giving you a chance to learn from the best. Ol Thom walked the
same decks as Bull Halsey, and he knows more about setting sails
properly than anyone here. You should begg him to crew as a consultant
when you go to Alaska this spring.

He's a shining example of why all kids should serve in the military.

I'm sure he would double your recruiting results.

Default Hey Gaz... Joe what about this one

Seen this boat? It should be in your neighborhood.

It's not the hi-tech speedster that other boat is. I'm
curious what kind of condition it's in and if it's been
raced recently.

Of course, delivering a boat like this from Texas to NC
would be quite a trip.

Interesting boat, Doug. Reminds me a lot of the Pearson Flyer.

The T-10 is the boat I sailed on this past summer in the
Mackinac Race. Compared to the Flyer, it's a little longer,
a little heavier, a little more powerful (ie more ballast, a
boxier hull, & a slightly taller rig), about the same
accomodation (ie spartan at best). The T-10 is an S&S design
and they sail superbly. I especially love the way they steer
under spinnaker & in a following sea.

I should probably give some consideration to the Flyer, too,
there are several around.

Doug we have more feet of boat than shore line here on Clearlake.

Looks like it's at the boardwalk, portafino, or watergate here on the
lake, if your serious I will be happy to go look at her and see if she
has any noticable problems

Not serious enough that you should go far out of your way.
I just wondered if the boat was recognizable locally, since
there aren't that many red hulled flush deck hot rods
around. Maybe you'd say 'oh yeah, that's the boat that sank
at the dock last spring' or maybe 'See that boat all the
time on race weekends.'
