I was just thinking about John Kerry's statement about
Iraq--going into peoples houses in the dead of night. It
brought to mind the last time it happened in the US. The
Cuban boy Elian Gonzalez was dragged out of bed in the
middle of the night. And the Branch Davidians fiasco. Isn't
it wonderful what liberal Democrats can do?

When the jackboot kicks down the door, it's always in the name of the
greater good and the odds are overwhelmingly that it is a Socialist (liberal
Democrat being a subset) that has ordered it.

Hate to break it to you, but Bushco is responsible for going into
people's homes in the dead of night (metaphorically speaking) for no
good reason.

Reno certainly was involved at the end of the fiasco, but the roots of
it was on the Republican watch. The Acting-AG at the time was Stuart
Gerson, and adviser to both Bush administrations.

I always think its bizarre that something like Waco gets blamed on
"liberals."
