Who classifies the Subaru as a LUXURY SUV? Even the girlie Lexus
RX300/330 is only classified as an entry level semi luxury SUV. Not a
Luxury SUV. So where do you get the info that your econo box is a
LUXURY SUV?

41K SUV is an econobox? Sheesh! Let's hope not! The RX330 loaded is
also over 40K. The B9 has a nicer ride than the even the V8 Taureg,
better handling and a nicer interior space. The B9 targeted the BMW X5
and beat it in almost every key area, though the X5 is aging now.

I live where 4WD is a necessity. How come I have only seen one Tribeca ever?
Lots of Subarus, but no Tribecas.

Any theories on that one Bluster Boy?

RX330's either. You sure know cars, Crantz! BTW, Subaru has been
selling 2000 B9s per month, so there are still very few around. Target
is 2500 per month, but the gas crunch slammed the whole SUV market.
Guess who had the best SUV sales? Subaru! Guess who had their most
profits ever due to the Tribeca and FXT? Subaru!

The Toyota Tundra is a great truck. I owned a 4-Runner and the Tacoma
for a while. Bullet proof, but no good for the family. Also: the B9 is
Suzanne's car. I drive the STI most of the time, which is the fastest
best handling car here by a wide margin. Just like my boat!

I had the supercharged 4 Runner and a Tacoma. The 4 cylinder Tacoma was
gutless compared to the older 4 cylinder trucks.

You missed the point again. They've sold 10's of thousands of Lexus and
BMWs. The B9 has only been out for a few months. Why would you expect
to see them?

Why would you buy the first car of a production run. You know it has a
higher probability of a design defect. Why did you elect to be the crash
test dummy? Why not wait two years and get one?
