How anybody could 'convert' to Islam escapes me. I mean, sure, if one were
immersed in it from childhood or threatened with beheading but jeeze .....
its a bad joke.

After a year of mourning his wife, middle-aged Mohammad goes off to (then)
the equivalent of Las Vegas and a few drug capitals all rolled into one to
end his mourning. He ends up out of town, passed out on a rock, and wakes
up three days later back home where he tells everybody "Whew! Don't drink
booze or do any drugs!" Then he says that he'd gone to heaven and visited
God.. Happened to a few hippies I knew back in the '60s too. But they didn't
kill people for doubting them so they never started a religion like his. But
that belief is the basis of Islam. It's almost as goofy as eating your God.
