Our Boat is Here
Our boat is now safe in sound at our club. Tomorrow I start work on
installing her new stereo head unit and have her sails checked out at Doyle. It's been a process getting her here, but it's going to be a great Spring and summer! http://members.aol.com/bobsprit/images/del1.jpg RB 35s5 NY |

Jesus, that's gotta be the ugliest.....trailer I've ever seen :-)
That's not a road trailer. RB 35s5 NY |

Obviously towed by the lowest bidder.
Check that thing for stress damage, it looks like the boat was supported on too few points of too little contact area. Remember, towing is a dynamic load not a static load as on the hard. "Capt. All the stress cracks in the gel coat will be under the flexiable
bottom paint. He will not see them until the big blisters appear at the end of next season, or if ice blisters erupt from the hull soaking in moisture from the rain.. He should strip the bottom and look for stress cracks around each of the 4 stanchons. I agree.... they should of used at least 8 supports with 12X12 pads. I think Scotty the trucking expert will confirm this..Right Scotty? Joe |

Yeah right dunce, they are going to strap the mast down like in the
picture to move it in a yard. Beside they use a travel lift and stands at boobsies marina. Pin head yard trailors do not need tags. Joe |

Right you are Joe. Good observations!!
Since when do NY trailers have Florida tags? That thing was hauled on a hay trailer by a pickup truck! The lowest bidder!! aaahaahaaaahahaahahaahahhaaaaaaaaahahahaahahhhhaa! ! Amen! the distance.... on a triple axle with 6 pads towed by a 3/4ton pick-up for 12K. It's not that big a load boys!!! CM "Bob Crantz" wrote in message ink.net... Right you are Joe. Good observations!! That's a Triad road trailer. Why does Bob have to lie about everything? You're right, Scotty. It is a triad trailer, rated for 21K lbs. The rig is fine for hauling a sailboat like mine and he does a lot of work for local yards and moving race boats for Doyle as well. Nobody complains. His rates are pretty much the same as everyone elses. I got a break through my yard on a deadhead. 1200 miles aint much for a rig like that. RB 35s5 NY |

Doesn't look like a yard trailer. Besides why would the yard pick the
boat up off of one trailer and put it on another? I wouldn't think a Beneteau hull could take the abuse that was dished out by that trailer and it's limited number of supports all the way up 95. Boobie's boat is ruined. |
