Mr. Scott, we need more power!!!!
Our 35s5 is now scheduled for delivery this Tuesday at aprox. 1:00 pm.
I'll be there...with BELLS ON!!! And nicer bells than any of you own or will ever own! Bwahahahahahahaha! Hey, hahahahahahahaha! RB 35s5...better than what you got! NY |

How can anyone in their right (or left for that matter) mind get that
excited about owning a "bendytoy"? It's certainly an OK boat for lake sailing and coastal cruising. Nothing more and nothing less. But for Christ sakes, give it a rest and grow up. "Capt. RB,
Ok the boat is on its way. . . How long will it be until you actually own it? Matt Colie Capt. Rob wrote: Our 35s5 is now scheduled for delivery this Tuesday at aprox. 1:00 pm. How long will it be until you actually own it? We own it 100%. It was previously documented under Windward First. The documentation will lapse as it's going to carry NY Reg only. Banks require documentation in most cases. Cash deal had some pluses for us and I have enough paperwork each month. RB 35s5 NY |

pretty easy to transfer. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Bart Senior" .@. wrote in message ... Only a foolwould give up US documentation in favor of registration. Mr. Scott, we need more power!!!!
The documentation was "lapsed" as soon as the boat changed hands,
Robert. I don't see state registration as any sort of advantage, and neither will the next potential owner when you sell it in a few years. A transfer of documentation while it is still warm is a whole lot simpler than trying to start all over in a few years. You can do it yourself by mail, and it will cost about $90. That's a one time fee. Joe, as per my discussion with Hailing Port Services and confirmed with CG, we can restart the documentation anytime for the same fee. Our insurance and NY law requires only one. There's not advantage to carrying both. It has no advantages when sailing local. Alien's documentation had not been updated in 9 years and was not current. Didn't matter. RB 35s5 NY |
Mr. Scott, we need more power!!!!
Personally I think it's worth it just to avoid putting all those
hideous block letter decals along the bow of my boat. (which will leave a shadow when removed by the next owner) That's the best reason. I'll have to reconsider for that point alone. I doubt resale would ever be an issue. Believe me, no one will ever find a better 35s5. And when we trade up, she'll be even nicer. RB 35s5 NY |

How you paid for the boat, and whether or not there are any
liens against her, is totally irrelevant to whther the boat is documented. Most lenders request vessels to carry documentation in NY, dopey. Does anybody actually pay you to do whatever it is that you claim to do? Yup, I'm a media monitor making 36 dollars per hour at present. I monitor TV and radio for commercial content. Fell into the job when I became seriously ill. The best part is that I monitor 10 hours per day in under 4 hours of actual time. This allows both Suzanne and I to spend each day with our son! Sweet deal and better than you could swing! My tax breaks are also huge and I can sail every weekday of the season after 1:00 pm which also nets me three day weekends every week! Sorry, Doug. You're at the end now and at 43 I have a better sailboat that you will ever have. RB 35s5 NY |

that would be aprox $72 per hour...not bad...esp if it gets you

Like I said...Thomas has both parents and that was the goal. Suzanne only works 3 nights. I can't wait for summer! RB 35s5 NY |

Perhaps there are some fees involved. Swabbie
broke his piggy bank to buy that rubber duck. Obviously he has no judgment--remember the careful research that went into the question of whether he was stupid or lacked judgment? Well it is one and the same as far as he is concerned. Or on the other hand, if he sinks the boat, it won't matter. Perhaps he plans to over-insure it and then sink it when he finds he can't get his money back out of it on a resale. "Capt.
