What a Boat!

Mooron says this boat looks like a lot of the others but it's actually
far more unique than his!

The 35s5 aft section is marked by the largest swim platform for a 35
footer ever. It's squared off elements which flow into softer ones are
quite unusual. The is a swim platform/boarding area that you can
actually use!

The ports are also quite unusual. Only Swan and one or two others have
tried this and the grab-rail actually flows into them, meaning you have
rail along the whole deckhouse.

The decks are free of lines and the furler below deck!

Her lines are both awkward and graceful, beautiful under sail of
course. The boat drew compliments from locals at Salt Creek. And of
course her interior is very unique compared to the standard layout of
the Nordica.
There are zillions and brazilians of boats like the N30....very few
like the 35s5! And even fewer near her size that can match her
performance, features and comfort factors!

Just how many lines can these morons drag in the water?

Are all 35s5 owners so lubbery?

You must be very excited, Bob. Just think, your new boat is
probably passing through PA right now!

Can't wait for the pics!

I'm sorry but does anyone else think the ass end of that boat looks
like it's trimmed with vinyl siding? Another ugly stern. And as
others have pointed out the boat is really a 32 footer but saps fell
for the 35s5 model number and paid for a 35 footer.

Hmmmm...you're the first to mention it. Do you think Joe, Doug, Jeff or
anyone will just agree with you even if they really don't? The 35s5 won
boat of the year at Paris and London shows and also in Cruising World.
I also read that it won a German design award, but I have not read more
about it so far. The interior was also shown in the Moma magazine in
1989. What design awards did the Express 30 get? Oh...NONE!

Wow, who knew that platform was three and a half feet long!? Zowee! I
wonder why the interior is bigger than the C&C 37 interior? I guess all
boats with swim platforms are charades!

Sloco suuure knows boats!
