Hmmm, interesting.
The EVo here is a tad faster than the Sti and definitely quicker point to point. Mitsu here has an excellent reputation afa service goes, and I know of no issues re quality control. Yeah, if you keep up on cars in different markets, Mitsubishi is rated pretty poorly for quality control and they're in trouble here. I'd love in EVO if I thought I could trust it, though the STI is generally thought of as the better daily driver. I read one review that said the feedback on the EVO made a Miata feel numb by comparison. The US can ruin anything. Just look at the Ford Focus. Well rated overseas...and the ones built here are horror shows for reliability. And being a Subura fan, the best built models are the small Outback Sports, because they are imported partially assembled. My Tribeca seems pretty nice though...ultra quiet interior and quality unmatched by any American make...note the pic of Jeff on my custom video system. http://members.aol.com/bobsprit/images/mvideo.jpg Just scored the best crash test rating in it's class ever.
