Pam for Boats?
Today's question:
How is Pam used for transporting boats via truck? I'm talking about the cooking spray, folks! 3 points to the first person to get it right! RB 35s5....the Non Stick Boat! NY |

Pam for Boats?
So far now has gotten it...
When I heard about it I laughed, but my yard confirmed and it's even in Practical Sailor. So....How is Pam used for transporting boats via truck? Three more tries... RB 35s5 NY |

Very good! More or less correct. Spraying the front 3rd of of the hull with Pam cooking spray will in fact help protect it from road debris. Good for you, Joe! RB 35s5 NY |

wouldn't trust Practical Sailor to wind my watch. Most of the writing
almost seems like it was written by the staff of the Onion. Their "testing methods" are a joke. It was actually explained to me by Mark at Doyle sails and two transporters also mentioned it. When I checked with my yard I got the famous, "What? You didn't know about that trick?" look. They do it all the time. The boat shows up looking like a mess with some debris and dust stuck to the Pam, but it hoses right off. RB 35s5 NY |
