Expressions such as "drop dead", "have a nice day but not here", "bite me", "scrotum breath" are all of the New York venacular. New Yorkers are tough, perhaps the mentally toughest in the country. They can dish it out and they can take it. Remember that all the abuse Bob dishes out is given back to him by each of you many times over. The fan blows the crap in both directions. Yes, he has some faults. But he must have some very good points too. You don't push buttons as well as he without having some deeper understanding of life and human kind. I think in real life he is a benevolent individual. Perhaps he unloads a little bit of his dark side here, but it doesn't really harm anyone unless they themselves has some psychological disorder. In conclusion Robbie is not stupid. He does not lack judgement either. He knows what he wants and is willing to pay for it (on his own terms). If the majority contends Swabbie merely lacks judgment and good sense, I will humbly apologize to Swabbie for calling him stupid. The bottom line is, if you are going to tangle with him, expect to get
a black eye now and then. And Bob, let me add to that...this whole thread exists now (not a normal thread for poor Bart) because I posted that he had called me and asked to meet one of my lady friends. I posted her picture. I'm glad I didn't do it. Bart also told me a story of how he'd gotten to a late stage in his life and still hadn't found anyone who'd have him. No doubt Bart is frustrated. He might be a more experienced sailor than me, but he'll never get anywhere with women if he can't learn to pick battles he can win. This one is lost for him. True..I know my weaknesses, but few others here do. The best part is...TWO of "you" met me in person and basically play the part of a mole for me. Who could it be? Not EVER who you'd think! These folks can't win because they imagine they're clever, have me outgunned and even think they KNOW me! It's an amazing joke for the three of us...and to a few like Mooron who can see the game for what it is. The rest just spin at the end of my line daily. Why not be generous for once and let Bart slide off your back. If he's
looking for the perfect companion, help him out or at least wish him the best. He's out there looking and you can't fault him for that. Cut him some slack, he's a good natured guy. Send some stuff to his dad in Pennsylvania. Copy stuff over to the Bennetau board so they see what he is. There's plenty that can be done, if you want him to stop such horrible behavior. But it's just like the battered wife syndrome, if you don't beat them they'll find someone who will. I believe some people desire and like Robbie's abuse. It makes for a rough day at the playground.
