I've been doing some reading on the various forums and it seems like
the Beneteau 35s5 is not much in the way of a quality boat.

Cracks = bending beyond the elastic limit of gel coat.

Underlying substrate has too much deflection for load.

Design error?

Manufacturing error?

Abuse?
