Very unfortunate if you happen to have purchased a used boat, you probably
would have no legal redress.

The posting above is an obvious example of trolling.

Though pretexually written as if in the present tense ("folks are
checking"), the link provided is actually to no more than a reference
by just one person who, substantially more than two years ago (in May
2003) said he was "looking into" a (then) contemplated (fantasized?)
lawsuit.

The only actually significant element of the above posting therefore
appears to be that it does not include a report to the effect that any
such lawsuit was ever brought (let alone certified as a class action
much less concluded in the plaintiffs' favor).
