Just like "wilderness" is a euphemism (back east) for land that has some
natural features such as streams, trees, hillsides and doubles as rental property with houses, roads, cars and the like. Out here in the west, wilderness means NEVER having a road, a building, timber cutting or the like. Out here people don't live in the "wilderness" areas Does your "wilderness" include any "country estates"? Another fun chuckle is the back east use of "high altitude" land. Out here "high altitude"land is beyond the flight ceiling of some recreational aircraft and O2 is required for pilots. Yet people run, ski, climb and bike at these western high altitudes. Easterners, such as pale Rusty (anemia prevents the full blossom of rust) would suffer collapse and endema at these western altitudes. Amen! "Captain Joe Redcloud©" wrote in message ... "Country Estate" is an oft used name for trailer parks. Go search "Country Estates Trailer Park" and you'll quickly find that it's a very common name for them. People with a gentleman's farm would never refer to it as their "Country Estate", as they know that would make people think they lived in a trailer park. "Early Retirement" - Often a company will offer a bribe of some sort to get rid of deadwood or problem employees before they are normally scheduled for retirement. They find it worth the extra expense to jettison those who are holding the rest of the company back, or who create friction among the general staff. HTH! Captain Joe Redcloud© |
