You should actually READ the national sales tax proposal. It includes a
monthly rebate to all citizens for taxes paid on necessities of life.
There are many other provisions that make it the only fair way to go,
IMHO. The current system is not working. However, many lawyers and
accountants make their living off of the complex system under which we
currently operate. It is broke, no one likes it, it needs to be fixed,
stop whining.

Me too, but damn if I know what will work. A lot of people want a
national sales tax but I have a problem with that because everything I
have was bought with taxed money and if I spend it I would be taxed
again..
