a chili cook-off at the YC so we should be around if you were going to make
the trip up...(of course, that's dependant on whether or not we get snowed
in...)

Since I had the flu a month back and missed a week of work, I chose to work
this AM. We've gone to Gordon's bash before, but I guess we'll pass this
year. We'll see you when the sun is shining on 75 degree water.

Well, from what we saw today, that'll be next September...the ice fishers
were sitting out in their little huts...big ice flows off the city beach
flogging around in the waves....Gordon and Brian came down to the YG for the
chili ( we had superior muffins to those at his Open House...) A bunch of
the vendors were handing out freebies...

No one ever passed out anything free but cookies and coffee when we've been
there. Someone must have told 'em that no Hoosiers were expected.

Wow, really? A thaw party? Right now it appears as if it might never thaw.

Move your boat to Holland and keep it in heated storage. That is the only
way to go!

. . . but Herbie's prices aren't. At least no one is laughing at their
yard or dockage bills. That guy actually has electric consumption meters
for each boat and doubles the electric company's charges.
