The first one looks OK, but I do not understand why people fair in
minor dents, The second is a hunk of junk and need to be melted, the
last one with the wooden mast looks well cared for but still ugly
compared to redcloud.

I think your right Otn.

The mast stay straps would be welded on not bolted or rivited and seen
in the photo.
