Same here Scotty, cept it is clover up to Skippers belly. Its great
warm and soft as velvet... great barefoot walking. The ducks have been
sitting on eggs for over a week now. Minnows everywhere, flowers
blooming, clear bright blue skys its only going to get up to 74 degrees
today. Spring time is great huh?

Hell Joe.. Spring is indeed great if you have a winter or summer or fall to
compare it with.... let alone the fact it's not due to arrive for another
few months. I've done the uni-season thing for a few years in a much warmer
climate than you are in..... I missed the seasons after the first year when
the novelty wore off.

I feel sorry for you. I am currently blessed with driving snow and high
winds. I cranked the heat up in the chook coop for the girls. It's a great
day to stay inside, warm and cozy. I'm currently scanning family photo
albums and documents to burn to DVD. I've got some boat projects in the
shop to attend to and then I promised the Warrior Princess to make myself
available later this evening for some UT2K4 online.

What are you blatherin about?
We had Snow for Christmas and you did not!
We even had ice cycles.

It's a great day here to go out sailing. Infact that is my plan for
lunch today. Submarine sandwitch, cold beer, chips and my 13 foot La
Brisa, It's a canook boat ya know.

lunchtime sail out across the lake bout 5 miles and back, tacking only
once.

Nice warm southern breeze, little music, all warm and cozy.

Never heard of a La Brisa... where was it made?

Well if the wind dies you can always walk back......

I understand "warm & cozy" in Texas is due to your watered down blood....
that's why you Texans get "as giggily drunk as teenage girls on orange gin"
by just drinkin' 2 beers.

The wind was perfect 8-10 broad reach both ways.

The boat is made by Sirocco in Ottawa.
The model is a La Brisa
Here is a Sirocco close to mine.

It just barely fits in the slip with Redcloud. During the winter I put
a 9.9 hp mercury on the back to go up into the wildlife preserve here.
Spring summer and fall it's a blast on the lake. takes 2 min to rig and
be out sailing. Ive only flipped it a couple dozen times. I have a new
jib off a snipe that get her moving nicely.

Watch those spiked tires when you slide out.

Nice warm southern breeze, little music,

Lynard Skynard? Charlie Daniels? Elvin Bishop?
