Joe's New Boat

Note the lowered mast (hollow steel) for going under bridges, trees, and
other obstructions. ALso note the excellent shallow water capability.
This new boat of Joe's is an incredible testament to the sea-going power
of steel!

Nice boat, bet the rigging will not rip lose.

Funny you mention the M1A1.

My docking light Port side..Explosion and shock proof watertight
fixture off a real M1A1 Tank. Makes it nice boarding late on a dark
night, has a fisheye lens that project a perfect puddle pattern.

Not in an offshore squall, anyway.

I understand that there are a few things that will rip loose the
rigging. TOWs, MADRATs, 16" NGFS, etc etc. Personally, I don't sail in
locations where those things are likely ;)

What's a "puddle pattern"?

Yes it is 12 V

The shape of a round puddle on the ground. Many autos have puddle light
in the bottom of the door or bottom of the side mirror.

So you don't step in a puddle getting out? I get it. Never heard that
before, learn something every day.

It's for extremely shallow draft vessels.
