fine if legislators in the southern US state have their way.

The House chamber in Virginia's General Assembly has voted 60-34 in
favour of the so-called "droopy drawers" Bill to penalise people who
wear their pants too low, exposing their boxer shorts or G-strings in
a "lewd or indecent manner".

"Underwear is called underwear for a reason," said Republican
politician John Reid.

"Most of us would identify this as the coarsening of society."
