John,

It has all been a very happy side effect of diet I was put on for high
blood sugar. Had eating habits explained to me and the things that
caused high blood sugar at my age and the medications I was taking

I have be be the the worst person on this planet to advise anyone on how
to eat. For me it was learning what was hard for my system to handle.
Potatoes and corn have been cut back drastically. Bread also. These
things were main stream in my diet. I haven't had a sandwich since Sept.
A small potato with just about every meal is now one a week. The
replacement has been beans, rice and stir-fry veggies. My diet now is
what you might call mexican-oriental. Where Meat was what the meal was
built around. it is now almost just a seasoning. Meat is only about 25%
of any meal now.

I haven't eliminated anything, just changed the %. I'm not recommending
anything to anyone! It works for me and my Myasthenia Gravis and my
blood glucose. I am not an expert about food so use your head. The
weight loss is a happy side effect.

Admit it Ole Thom, the REAL reason you lost weight is because
every time you post something about sailing you end up eating
crow. You eat so much crow you don't even have room for
that shoo-fly pie.

I'm surprised you can even eat crow. Surely you must have
indigestion something awful being so stressed out knowing
your boat is inferior, your sails are inferior and your keel
is a joke.

I hope you get the chance to sail in a real sailboat one of
these days. I will extend you an open invitation to sail
aboard my fine blue water cruising Coronado any time
you happen to come visit southern Florida.

And, I will take you up on your offer to sail aboard your
floating condo should I ever be in Washington. The benefit
to me will knowing just how well my boat sails compared to
yours.
