I tried to lose the 'blue' eye on the "Ready for Santa" shot but he got
really scarey looking the more I fiddled with it!

Mine even has colored feathers for hair. Mine is the correct color, too - black.
Yours is reddish brown. What is that? A native American Voodoo doll?

You must have missed the recent argument about red eyes in photos. They
actually threatened each other with knives ;-) until they saw the
pictures of your knives.
