Like NAV said "properly tuned". If you're twisting cranks and holing
pistons it isn't. Remember Honda used to *detune* their 400cc F1 bikes down
to 150-200HP so somebody could ride them, and thats without nitro.

Not from me, you won't.

Reminds me of a cartoon. Ricerocket pulls up beside a H-D and a few words
are exchanged. Ricer's pretty passenger dismounts. Both gun their motors and
when the passenger waves the ricer is off like a flash! H-D doesn't budge.
H-D rider turns to pretty girl and says "your place or mine?" Last frame
shows them off for a nice ride.

I have put it back to stock. Sold all the drag racing
stuff years ago. The GT380 itself now looks like
it just came off the showroom floor. I've recently
gotten it out of storage and am riding it from time
to time.

I can take a pic and post it but all you will see
is a stocker. Maybe I can find an old pic or two
of it in drag racing trim but I certainly won't
look too hard just to satisfy a weenie like you.

No. Why don't you post it! Make sure we can see a yellow Crapanado in
the background, or a mauve cushion nearby.

BUSTED!

Please tell us about the frame and suspension mods. A GT380 putting
out 80
horsepower could not do the quarter mile in under 10 seconds with a
stock frame
and suspension. You would go off the side of the track.

get set... GO!

It's obvious neither of you know your bikes.

Even suggesting a homemade drag racer be tuned like a
factory, one-of, half a million dollar in R&D, road racing
machine with a usable powerband all of 500 rpm wide and
an 18-speed tranny shows how little either of you understand
drag racing where it's all about useable horsepower and
torque from a couple thousand rpm up to the redline.

Put one of those factory road racers on the strip and
a Gold Wing misfiring on one cylinder would do the
quarter mile faster.

Keep in mind that I did not use a turbo or super charger.
My drag racer was normally aspirated. This limits how
much nitrous can be realistically intaken and compressed
in the cylinder. Blown and injected machines were in another
class altogether. (And quite a bit faster!)

I hope this helps straighten out your lack of understanding
of drag racing and motorcycles in general.

Yeah. You wasted a thousand dollars worth of crap on a $500 POS bike.

Hey, be nice. I like my scooter just fine. We've traveled
lots of miles together with nary a problem. She turns
more heads today than the new, fancy Harleys and
you'd better believe it. People walk right by the
Harleys because they are so ubiquitous and
comment on what nice shape my ride is in.

Ever heard of a sleeper? It only LOOKS showroom
stock. It still runs like a scalded dog. 40mph at
the redline in first gear, 60mph in second and
she's got six all told.
