OTOH the Mac 25 is a pretty good boat. They're fast and they're practical. If you could find a cheap way to haul this one to the water, and knew of a good cheap place to keep it docked or moored, it'd be nice to pick up for a song. It would be easy to spned 'way more fixing it up than it'll ever be worth, though. New sails, for example.... Fresh Breezes- Doug King |

Do you think there's any hardware on it worth salvaging? :-)

I've sailed on many a mac 25, I think that if you have a way to pick it up it's
worth every penny. It can be tough to find a set of sails for a good price, however. Fast, comfortable and worry-free boat. It would be a good gift for a son or nephew that is new to sailing and would help them to learn the value and rewards of hard work...ie cleaning the damn thing! |
