The difference between people like jon and people like me is that I don't
need to tell the whole world what I ahve sttood up for, what I have saved, or the good deeds that I have done. To do that negates their worth. I don't need a litany of my accomplishments listed on the ng and I don't need to brag about anything I've done or to apologize for anything I've failed to do. Self-aggrandizement is a gleeting thing. It might get you that 15 minutes of fame, but the quiet certitude of knowing that deep within yourself your actions have made a difference is a far better reward. I feel pity for embittered people who must take everything out on others. Most of the jibes here on this ng are in jest. They are a game. When I poke fun, it is juust that...fun. Taking pokes seriously should be considered a mental flaw. It's one of the reasons I try to stay out of the political and religious conversations...when things here get too serious, people's precious psche's are injured and the fun stops. So in that spirit, I will also stop calling Horvath "busiboy" since only he and I know what that's all about...and it was in fun, just as were his jibes at me. The constant gay bashing, though, is not fun, and serves no purpose or point. And it doesn't matter who started it. Everyone has the power to finish it. Your philosophy is manly and your request is reasonable. Are you sure you're the real Katysails? The real Katysails would not expect reasonable action from an unreasonable person.
