Heard a brief outline of her career on NPR tonight, she was "discovered" by Karl Rove, no less! She will definitely need to clean up her act, though. let's just hope she understands that "A Nation At Risk" was Reagan's attempt
to dismantle public schools, that T.H. Bell had a (not so) secret agenda, that David Gardner never taught in public schools. Nor did GHB, Clinton, Ted Kennedy, or GWB, yet somehow they all fancied themselves experts. No one seems to have figured out that our schools are symptoms of the bigger social mess.
