Good Luck

Who ever wins today I wish them success.
I will support and stand behind our president no matter who wins.

It's flooded here and raining hard and I will have to dink out of the
marina and stand for hours in the cold rain to vote, but it will be
worth it.

BTW ..since we have such long lines all over the country Democrats are
being asked to vote tommorrow.

Good Luck!

Joe

I don't wish GWB success. He's in the process of ruining this great country,
and if he should be "reelected" it will most likely be from the same kind of
theft that happened in Florida in 2000.

If GWB "wins," it will be a sad day for this country on at least two fronts.
Firstly, we will have shown the world that the greatest democracy in the
world has been hijacked by religious fanatics. Bin Laden and his ilk will
have won. Secondly, it will reveal just how foolish and ignorant a great
people can become if you feed them enough processed food, processed
religion, and processed thinking.

This country was founded on principles of compassion and independence mixed
with careful examination and clear thinking, not on the quicksand of easy
solutions to complex problems.

It's already happened, Ganz. Bush and Bin Laden have won along with religion
over common sense and compassion.
In the long run they'll lose. Science and sanity prevail, but it ebbs and
flows. Sadly, this is an ebb time. It will be brief.

It would be nice if the best man did win. Unfortunately the best and
brightest don't become politicians and we are mostly left with the leavings
of one 'royal family' or another. The main issue in this campaign though
was how lesser can the lesser of two evils be? Adding up the small bits
and pieces though the Democrats were not serious as evidenced by their
choice of candidates. Picking someone who is thoroughly despised by a
rather large group of citizens who cut across party and cultural lines was
not the smoothest move possible. but then retaining Cheney instead of a
Powell for example wasn't the greatest idea on the other side. John Boy
however awoke a special place in the hearts of veterans and we have a
saying about Paybacks. so for many of us it became a one issue race and
even more decidedly so by the puerile nonsensical rantings of some. In my
case I took a break from 16 years of straight Libertarian voting (except for
Norm Dicks, Rep. D) who I've voted for twice now with the only goal in mind
of 'Paybacks!" Sometimes they take a long time to happen, sometimes you
can truly forgive those who have trespassed against you and sometimes they
just get away with it.....In this case John got his. Now hopefully, next
time around we'll see a serious candidate from the Dem's. I would suggest
one without 'military baggage' such as Bubba and John Boy. Obviously that
narrows it down to a woman candidate. So....Hillary in 2008?
