Back to Newark today. There was a Wauquiez 40 Pilot Saloon there.
Sleek looking boat. I was about to steal the folding prop on it when I
had to leave.

Don't know how to break the news to you Scott, but that's a FRENCH boat.

What a sad sad post. The guy with a siedlemann is looking at real boats like
his wife probably stares at real men.
Scotty Potti will **** a makita drill when he sees my new boat!

Nutsy,

By the time you get a new boat I wonder how many of us will be young
enough to comment on it?

By the time he gets a new boat the waterways will be so polluted as to be
solid enough to walk on . . . . according to Bubbles, anyway.

the port isn't so bad, big ships to gawk at, lots of interesting

Interesting coincidence, I spent some time Sunday afternoon checking

out
an X-412 (40'? 41'?) that was fitted out rather nicely or cruising
(washer-dryer among other things) and still could sail very nicely.

They
were getting ready to go on the Caribbean 1500 "rally."

I guess if they pay you to go to Newark, and then let you leave

again,
it's OK

Used to be 50, then I almost got to 60 but decided to go sailing instead.
Shed a few pounds and start associating with real sailors it's amazing how
your life improves and the years drop away! May even have to give up using
Just For Men in grey and chance getting carded again.

Do you mean the former Maggie Blue, Ivan's boat? It was a terrific boat,
but overpriced, I thought. We looked at her and passed. And it was
actually slipped at Lake Murkytoilet (Macatawa) but stored at Crosswinds.
