Default It might serve as a distraction

Finally drove the boat down to the yard last Thursday, very few boats left
in the water, maybe about 8 or so, only a few powerboats.

Unpleasant surprise coming out of the marina, bumped a rock in the middle of
the channel out! Knew there were rocks outside of the channel, had no idea
they had some inside. Will have to speak to management about it, they have
bben dredging in the spring, if it's small enough they may be able to dredge
it out. May even attempt some boat prohjects before it gets too cold, but
I'm usually not that ambitious.

It was startling, wasn't a big bump, just completely unexpected. I know the
rocks are just outside the channel, the time before when I bumped there was
a marker directly off my bow and one directly off the centerline of the
stern! so I wasn't even outside the channel, or at least only half-out. I
will mention it to the staff at the marina, am wondering if they know about
it.

With all the flooding around here, the Chesapeake was full of logs and
big branches. Three times during the night I hit something. Very
startling.
