Gee, I hope she doesn't do that....current thought says that estrogen is
very dangerous...and after all, does infesting pregnant mare's urine REALLY
sound like a good idea? I think she's much smarter than that....

My wife would say it looks like me, although her eyes are quite blurry
from the
trawler's thick diesel fumes.

Bobsprit the Binary,

You really need to get a life...

I understand you might be overwhelmed with you little newborn.

Renewed choices,

You're really out of it BB....Cathy (Doug's wife) races sailboats and is
proficient at hanging off on the trapeze....they have won a number of events
in the past few years....Do you read anything but your own and Bobspit's
posts? You certainly are out of the loop....

Don't get your hopes up that somebody like you is joining the group.

And if that's true, undoubtedly they're smarter & more mature than you.

In your dreams.

I bet you don't even have a boat.

Poor, uptight, soured on life, married to a nagging crone, Tougboat.

I recently read a very telling post by him, where he listed the things
that
constitute the "down side" of cruising. High on his list of problems was:
Having
a spouse who hates sailing. Poor Tougboat!!! He's got a stinky, funny
looking
trawler to match his wife and his life. Makes perfect sense.

I was on my SAIL boat all day today, and I will be on it all day tomorrow.
The
weather here is awesome! 65 degrees, breezy and clear. And... My wife
LOVES
sailing.

Poor, pitiful, anal retentive... Tougboat.

"nagging crone" heh heh heh

You're not even lucky enough to have a dog as good as mine.

Not at all. I posted that *some* people have to drag an unwilling spouse
along. That's pretty clearly not the case for me.

But then, why let a few facts disrupt your psychotic babble?

What a cute dog, Doug...what's his name? Love the ears.....

You interpret it that way because of your own unhappiness.

My statement was made from the basis of very long observation of couples
going sailing, going cruising, and all too often failing to be happy
together doing so. If you spent any time around boat & other people
you'd have seen the same thing.

Fortunately for me, I have always been smart enough to not have to burn
myself to know the fire's hot.

... I can't say I know of
any sailing couples where either spouse is not just as happy to sail as the
other.

That's because your head is not anatomically correct.

Thank you, his name is Hank. He's our replacement dog, a pound puppy...
cute & lovable but not very bright. He has a good time on the boat, too.
I suspect some pit bull & terrier & boxer genes, he's loaded with hybrid
vigor.

No, it doesn't. It's just a statement and has no personal imprecation at
all.

Things at the Tougboat household are probably not as you think, otherwise,
why
on earth would Tougboat post something like this?

That sure sounds like it comes from a very unhappy frame of reference! Why
would
anyone, especially someone claiming a happy marriage, say something like
that?
Maybe Tougboat surrounds himself with miserable people? I can't say I know
of
any sailing couples where either spouse is not just as happy to sail as
the
other. I'd say that situation would be the exception, and not "Most
people" as
Tougboat seems to think.
