Bad loser? C'mon they did well considering what happened to their boat.
They didn't have much time to work up the replacement...

From what I understand, none of the other teams really have a
significant head start. For one thing, the IACC measurement rule is
going to change somewhat before the actual series start.

I agree that the Kiwi team sailed well and showed off their boat. The
match race series wasn't really definitive since they only sailed two
races, but they had a very good fleet race series... not quite as good
as Alinghi.

What happened to their boat?


It fell of it's cradle and tried to eat a container corner. I heard
there was structural damage to the ring frame -not an easy repair... So
they flew out another boat about 2 weeks ago.
