If we're down on the beach he'll wade in without prompt, but he has never
shown any desire to leap off the boat, except to leap into the dinght (which
can be a very exciting event...and sometimes damp...)but hey, he doesn't
chase rabbits or squirrels either...he hasn't forgotten that cocker spaniels
are evil devils, though...the other day we were walking by a yard where a
young one ran up to the fence and he peed on it....he will never forget
Reggie....

Nor will anyone on A-dock. He apparently left a calling card on the steps
just above the ramp and it never got cleaned off. I don't know why Don
bothered to take him to the dog walk area. He never made it, as far as I
could tell.

Par for the course...he's always done that so why would it change? I
suggested the plastic doggie bag things a long time ago to Eric the Dumb and
then to Elaine, but no one ever did anything about it...we have three poles
with dispensers set up at the YV and everyone with a dog uses them
religiously.....but then, there are a lot of kids running around and actual
real grass and picnic tables to eat on, so maybe that's the difference?

We made the same suggestion, to no avail. At least Reggie will be staying
in FL one of these years. My prediction is that Don and Gwen won't be up
next summer. Their boat has been for sale for two years now, and I suspect
they'll just leave it on the jackstands with a 'for sale' sign hanging.
Gwen had knee surgery this summer and can barely walk, let along make the
long march to the end of A-dock. I feel sorry for her.

it's been up on full tilt? you have to use radar to navigate because the
helm can't se what's out front...

She was beginning to show the fatigue of the fight this year after the
latest round of surgery. She oft complained about her beautiful home in
Florida, just sitting there with its wonderfully therapeutic pool and
beautiful view, while she was "stuck in Michigan." Of course she didn't say
much while Charley, Ivan, and Frances were paying their visits to her
"lovely home." I think they'll stay in FL this next summer, but I've been
wrong before about that.

It's such an ugly, bulbous waste of fiberglass. He's dropped the price
twice, but still no tire kickers. I think they'll have to let it go at a
fraction of its market value to get rid of it. I would.

I think I'd arrange a trip out to the middle of the lake with it...and leave
it there.....
