Well, Loco?

What area do you live in? I'm more than happy to compare price per Sq. foot!!!
You got any studio apartments down your way for 200K (and that's cheap here!)?
Property on City Island is even out of your league!!!

RB

Gilligan October 5th 04 01:40 AM

So tell me, how do measure quality of life?

By the square foot?

By the pound?

That would be measuring quantity not quality.... If you're going to do it by
quantitative measures, go to McD.

So tell me, how do measure quality of life?

Let's see...we have a very comfortable apartment. We have three cars. We have a
very nice sailboat less than 20 minutes away. We have an excellent home
theatre. We go to some of the finest restaurants and shows. We have a strong
relationship and a beautiful new son.
The quality of life isn't measured by any of the above unless that's what you
want. Now we want a much larger boat because it will improve our lives. It's
all "stuff" of course. Primitives like Loco build their lives around "stuff." I
waited 39 years for a great woman like Suzanne and my life would be great no
matter what now that she's with me!!!

RB

Gilligan October 5th 04 03:03 AM

You still haven't answered the question, unless you live through others. So
I take it then you wouldn't have a quality life by yourself?

Yes, it's great. It's wonderful to have a true soul mate by your side. I
think that many of the more bitter people here have clearly lost that
state of joy (or never found it). Human emptiness arises from never
really finding the soul mate. But then, what do I know -it took me 40
years to find mine...

Cheers

1. You forget that New Yorkers are the only dimwits who buy apartments. Every
where else people rent apartments and when they grow up they buy a house.
2. You don't know what league I'm in.

Oh, by the way your home theater is a joke. Apartments are for kids. Your
boat is vintage. And we all figured you go to shows. In fact it's been
reported that you hum show tunes.

NY real estate is a huge international market, including apartements, buildings
and storefronts. Anything even close to NY has huge value down the road.
Everyone knows this but you!
My vintage boat is nicer than yours and worth more!

He's only been married for two years. Wait until the honeymoon wears off.
You'll know if you have a soulmate after 20 years or so of marriage. Over
that period of time health, disposition, desires, etc of people change and
you may find someone doesn't quite have the "soul" they used to. That is
the test to see if you really found a soulmate.
