Great White at the Forbes estate
I don't know if this story has had much coverage outside of New England. A
Great White has been "trapped" in Hadley's Harbor, near Wood's Hole. The although the reports never mention it, the islands that form the harbor are owned by the Forbes Family Trust and closed to the public. It is one of our favorite spots to hang out - we spend a few days there every year. By coincidence, friends are vacationing on Naushon right now, so we may get an interesting report in a few days. This picture was taken a year ago in the lagoon they're talking about. http://www.sv-loki.com/MiaFloat.jpg http://www.capecodonline.com/cctimes/expertsshark1.htm http://www.boston.com/news/local/mas...t_of _lagoon/ |
