Mt St Helens

She let go. A pretty good explosion but nothing like the last one.

She blowing ash and the experts are watching. No one knows if that was
it or not. Not to bad for now.

More importantly, in local news, Ichiro broke the 84-year-old
single-season hit record. That, combined with Edgar's retirement,
makes this an interesting baseball season despite the team's
lackluster performance in general.

I hope MSH doesn't have another big one in her any time soon. My wife
lost an aunt, uncle, and two cousins in the big one in 80.

interesting baseball season = oxymoron.

The Mt.'s is starting to put out a very fine ash with each steam vent.

Is you've never seen volcanic ash I can give you a never accurate and
descriptive
report of what it looks like and feels like.
After vacuuming your carpets, empty the contents on the floor. That is
exactly what volcanic dust is like.

These Vents aren't really Eruption but they do expel ash and steam.

The Big Eruption is still to come and it is coming. The Dome is
expanding every day. The Mountain is getting hot enough to melt the
Glacier, which is creating a Lake in the Crater of boiling water, with
land slides of rumble.

So far the ash hasn't drifted to far some the Mt. and the winds are
taking it in a northeasterly direction.
