What a Lousy Sail

Two days on the boat. Fog and no wind.

Motored home. Did catch a Snapper. Fillet into four nice piece. Had two
of them for supper (Poached) with peppers, tomatoes and onions.

Yeah, but did you catch all the tidal currents just right?
;)

Sounds good. Usually when I fillet a fish it ends up with two pieces?

Anyway that should cheer you up, also reading Katysails post.

My wife & I went sailing on Saturday with a friend on their classic
yawl. It was blowing about 20, gusty and choppy. We went on a long broad
reach up the river toward town, then close reached back and had to tack
a short ways up into the entrance creek. It was fun.

Well it may of been a lousy sail but its sounds like a great weekend.

I kinda like the fog myself and I love Red Snapper. Not sure about
poaching fillets....But tossing them on the Grill and smoking them, or
fried or blackened can not be beat.

Where did you catch the Snapper? Did you go offshore? Is it cold way
up north where you are?

Did you sit on the hook and wait for the fog to burn off?

BTW you better get the hell away from Mt Saint Helan.... I hear she's
going to blow any time now.
