Had to go sail in it, it was only standing 3 foot above the water so I was sailing around and no one on shore could see my boat, just the sails and my head. It was really thick. It was surreal twilight zone type sailing. But the sun soon burned it off. Got close to 100 degrees today. Soon our major sailing season starts...Yeah. Oct-January is the perfect sailing temps and winds here. No fog here, but plenty of wind (season for equinoctal gales, I'm told). No racing today, so two of us went for a wee cruise, run out under main only, lunch stop at a mooring, and a beat all the way back with two reefs and small jib - hardly had the lee rail out of the water until we were about a mile from the marina. Guess that sail will make it easy to find any leaks huh? Joe |
