Hey Joe!

I'm female. Would never consider voting for Kerry! I have at least 20
close lady buddies. None of us will vote for Kerry. Driving through
Atlanta, many more bumper stickers for W04, etc. The only cars that have
Kerry bumper stickers are battered little old economy cars.
Yes, Bush will win! But Please, don't lump all women into the Democrat
sludge. Many of us can think for ourselves!

G

There you go Joe. You've found your next wife. She "thinks for
herself." Except that Bush is in the process of taking away the last
of her rights of privacy and choice. Soon, her "thinking for herself,"
will mean staying home and baking cookies.

GG, unfortunately, Joe is only interested in unthinking women.

Fishboy, not at all. What I'm saying is that if she votes for Bush,
she's not thinking clearly.

ah........jon.......you did it again.
you really do live in an existential world

many republican woman can bake cookies
can think for themselves and have great bodies
and have sex often (with men)

many dem. woman don't know how to make a slice of toast and some can cook up
a feast.
can think for themselves and have great bodies
and have sex often (with men....?)

hey ganz: an idea
instead of you providing another great circle of an argument,
go find a woman
maybe one that can bake cookies
maybe one that has a great body
and likes to have sex.
spend the night with her.
see what happens.

in any event, cheer up: the elections will be over soon enough and you can
get on with your life.

the purpose being two fold (my understanding)
first to scare off any terrorists (!)
second to pluck roving gangs of protesters off the trains before they
reached penn station.

A good thing, assuming they would know a terrorist when they saw one,
which is doubtful.

Not a good thing...

BTW does anybody else find it ominous that President Bush is buddying up

I was listening to NPR last night. Daniel Shore was giving his
commentary, but I tuned in about 1/2 way through. He was talking about
restricting civil liberties, the president asking the people to put up
with several moderately heavy-handed techniques to combat domestic
terrorism, etc. I was thinking that this was a bit much even for
Shore, even though he is quite liberal. I thought he was a bit over
the top, since Bush/Cheney/Ashcroft hadn't really gone that far (yet).

Then, I realized he was talking about Putin. Scary.

Daniel Shore liberal?
NPR is about the most balanced journalism around
except in the mornings here in NYC when they broadcast that idiot (talbit

in fact about a year ago (or 2............my mind wonders) they produced a

the israelis responded with force
the palistinians were silent.
interesting.
