KeyWest, right?) has the right idea to secure the boat, it's just as well to be prepared. Right now it looks like H. Ivan is moving further and further west, may not even hit the States. DSK |

You really do need to think before you type...Ivan's even heading towards the western end of NC. I guess that's not in the "states" either? http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/ftp/graphics...F/070303W5.gif http://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/ivan.html What an ASS-HOLE (or a ganz-hole) |

You need to look up the definition of the word "may." As of this morning it looks more probable that H. Ivan will hit Yucatan. It's too far west to have much chance of hitting any part of Florida. Instead of calling people names why not put in a few extra hours at work before your bankrupt employer tosses you to the street. Maybe your one of the reasons for their problem. The way NOAA keep moving the track west it may indeed come to this area. That OK, unlike the wimps in S. Florida we know how to deal with storms. We have planned for months where to go if needed. We have several hurricane hole picked out, boats fuled up, generator has fresh oil and filters. If it is under a cat 2 we will just stay here in the marina and ride it out like we have several other hurricanes. Still I would not wish a hurricane on anyone Katy. Even if it make a direct hit here some of my neighbors might not fare as well as RedCloud. We will keep a close eye on it's track. Joe "Roy G. Biv" wrote in message om...
