Our women are doing fairly well, too. Yngling: Dorte Jensen, Christina Otzen and Helle Jespersen, 2. place after 8 races. 470: Susanne Ward and Michaëla Ward, 3. place after 8 races. Europe: Singe Livbjerg, 3. place after 6 races. Fairly good so far, for a small country, but "it ain't over 'till the fat lady sings" (By Saturday I'll be in Athens, and I'm starting to get exited.) It would be great to see the Olympic sailing in person. I passed up the chance when they were in Savannah and it's one of my big regrets. Do you know any of the Olympic sailors on the Danish team? All the Olympic sailors are great talents and have gone through a great trial by fire just to be there at all. Fresh Breezes- Doug King |
