There is no reason why a piece of fiction shouldn't win
an award. It happens often.

Now Joe's gonna spout some crap about Cannes being French so it's no
wonder Moore won, just to show what a fool he is!

Bwaaahahahahahahahahahahhaaa!

Whats this! Oz hears of the award what.....6 mo. after it happened.
Sheeze you are really out back huh?

And your right, it is a french award so it dont count with anyone
except cowards.

BTW Moores POS film will not be able to get an Acamedy Award because
it was shown on TV by his buddy Castro and has been viewed by 1000's
over the internet.
Both disqualify it for awards.

Wrong, as usual. Both *might* be grounds from disqualification in the
Best Documentary" category, if those were authorized distributions,
rather than illegal, pirated distributions, which these were. As they
were the latter, it is unlikely that they would be applied to this
film.

In any event, Fahrenheit 9/11 is now a contender for Best Picture, as
well as Best Documentary, so who knows which (both?) awards he may
win?
