Our new boat is home

WooHooo!!!
The boat had to travel almost 1,600 from Michigan to Texas, but she is home.
Man the goodies in this boat are unbelievable. Alto pilot, a box of boat
tool, sail repair stuff, even a marine cable tension meter, but better yet a
half bottle of Scottish Whiskey and the list goes on and on.

Anyway here is the link to the picture with my wife standing in front of the
boat:

ahem That's "scotch whisky", or, simply, "scotch".

Congrats on the boat in any case. :-)

Scotty McGregor says it's properly "Scots' Whiskey", Scots' being the
plural possessive of Scot, or as you say simply "Scotch". Scotch is Scots
with a bloody English accent (c: I Say "who cares - drink it all!"

hummmmm. I thought the bottle read "Scottish Whiskey ."
I will have to down a jigger or two and ponder the subject for a spell....
Maybe if I drink half the bottle and stair at the label it will look
different. I will post the results when I come to.....

Sea Yawl,
John

Alto pilot

Gee...now all you need is a tenor captain, a soprano galley wench, and a
bass first mate and you can sail in 4 part harmony....

When I picked up my boat, it was as if the PO had forgot to take his stuff.
Flashlights, x-tra batts., knives, cleaning stuff, teak oils, rum bottle,
full size tool box full of tools, lamps, tape, lots of spare parts, and even
a coffee can full of quarters.

yeah i know what you mean
i spent a couple of years sorting thru and throwing out other peoples "gear"
a couple of good finds along the way.
one was the PO log books that he meticuolously kept.

another was the emergency bilge pump handle buried where it would never be
found if needed.
