What do the Thames & LIS have in common?

Donal doesn't sail the Thames....or anywhere near it...the Solent is around
the Isle of Wight which is in the south of England....the Thames empties
around Essex, in the east....the Solent and the surrounding area are the
resort areas of England....unlike Poopsville, TX where you siphon up the
jettison from oil rig platforms every time you start your engine...

What do the Thames & LIS have in common?

One has a river called Thames (pronounced temes) and the other has a river
Thames (pronounced thmes) named after the first river before the hairlip king
was crowned?

What do the Thames & LIS have in common?

i think all 650,000 tons of it were floating by my boat the other day,
heading under the throgs neck bridge towards hell's gate, down the east
river (just in time for the republican convention) and heading south.
probably with the goal of florida, towards captain neil. (the bermuda
triangle of cedar buckets)

and to think i have a prefectly good working holding tank here on LIS
i suspect it must be Bob's boat that's contributing to the mess.

actually: it is a serious problem in parts of the sound. mostly the western
edge. one that has improved greatly over the years (or so we're told)
except that every year, with a long spell of heavy rainfall, sewage gets
dumped into the sound from several places as the systems get overloading.

so much for the EPA.
