It's not even close to Christmas Jon.

Jonathan Ganz suggested:
He should take plenty of tampons.

Maybe you should explain why? Or I will....
They work as excellent hole stoppers since they expand...a jiffy/jury rig
fix until you can come up with something better....

Clearly, Fishboy is quite familiar with their use. Good for her, I mean
him.

Silk underwear...silk socks...silk dries very quickly but still wicks
moisture away from your body and makes a thin, warm barrier....and yes,
Land's End and LL Bean carry men's silkies....

Thanks Katy,

For the tampon tip.

One back to you. Pampers. Used pretty much as you say but also also used
for big wipe ups, oil spill (careful of combustion in disposal) Draft
stoppers, padding, etc

I wouldn't pack them in sea bag use though. Same for those silk undies.
When I was younger my private parts responded in a way that wasn't very
good for long distance voyaging.

I'm just trying to be helpful. I didn't realize you think
tampons are define gayness. I thought they were
used for plugging holes, and didn't contemplate
until now how you might use them to do that sort
of thing. YUCK!
