Assuming you are implying that neither Bush nor Kerry are honest politicos, would you vote for John McCain if he were running on the GOP ticket against Kerry? I didn't think so. I am the last person who would even think about doing anything
with your ass. Talk to Horass if that's what interests you. Bush is certainly a liar. Kerry, while not a liar, is the typical sort of politician one finds after having been in politics for so long. McCain is atypical in that regard. It would have been a tough choice if Kerry were running against him. I think you got it right when you said you don't think. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Maxprop" wrote in message nk.net... "Jonathan Ganz" wrote in message Are you feeling stupid? I hate to rain on y'alls parade but all successful politicians are liars in the context that they say things that they know are not true. They have to to win because the average voter is stupider than Homer Simpson. The way you get elected is to hire the best pollsters to find out what these people want to hear than spend more money than your opponent shouting it - never mind what you really plan to do. If you do not lie then you'll not get elected, it's as simple as that. Look what honesty got Goldwater and Ford. |

What about Nixon???? Actually, you're right. Some of us thot he should have said that spies had caught the USSR funding Democrats so he'd had his "plumbers" break into Watergate to see but old Slippery Dick was too honest .... |
