Forecast is for 23 C (73 F) and it's the middle of winter. I'm sailing all day today and heading off down south the ski next week. Big dump of snow on Mt Wellington last night, down to 400m. Clear blue skies, crisp and cool today. Been playing on one of our ships prior to her heading back into the Southern Ocean. Bloody bewdyfull ! Yep. Where else on the planet can you have most of the climate zones in one clean, peaceful country with elbow room to move? Darwin to Hobart, take your pick. For all the people in the northern hemisphere - summer (for you) solstice is over. Your days are getting shorter and soon they'll get colder. Enjoy. PDW |
